The DRS Signal Recording Technologies product group endeavors to be the performance-value leader in developing, marketing, and manufacturing of products that redefine and extend the limits of integrated recording, processing and special storage systems for the SIGINT, Instrumentation, Information Assurance and niche Telemetry and Telecommunications markets.
The DRS Signal Recording Technologies product group began as Tri-Plex Systems Corporation in 1987. Our focus was to develop products for high performance data acquisition, processing, storage and archiving applications. The company has consistently produced high performance products including boards, stand-alone systems and very large systems to satisfy its core markets.
- 1987 Tri-Plex Systems Corporation founded to build high performance data recorders
- 2000 Paravant acquires Tri-Plex Systems Corporation
- 2002 DRS Technologies acquires Paravant, Tri-Plex Systems Corporation renamed DRS Signal Recording Technologies
- 2007 DRS Signal Recording Technologies merged with DRS Signal Solutions.
